Kent County Council - Temporary Road Closure - Bow Hill, Nettlestead - 23rd October 2026 (Maidstone District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close part of Bow Hill, Nettlestead, from 23rd October 2026 with estimated completion by 23rd October 2026.

Bow Hill, Nettlestead, will be closed from the junction with Bow Bridge to the junction with Hunt Street, between the hours of 16:00 and 23:59 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bow Bridge, B2015 Bow Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2163 Teston Lane, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Smiths Hill, B2010 Yalding Hill, Kenward Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow drainage cleansing works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.

Openreach - Temporary Road Closure - Martins Lane, Nettlestead - 10th November 2026 (Maidstone District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Martins Lane, Nettlestead, from 10th November 2026 with estimated completion by 10th November 2026.

Martins Lane, Nettlestead, will be closed from the junction with A228 Seven Mile Lane for a distance approximately 850 metres in a South direction, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 weekday only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Martins Lane, Bells Farm Road, Stanford Lane, A26 Maidstone Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Seven Mile Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow overhead structure works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Openreach.

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, it will be necessary to close part of B2162 Hampstead Lane, Nettlestead, from 24th November 2026 with estimated completion by 24th November 2026.

B2162 Hampstead Lane, Nettlestead, will be closed at the level crossing, between the hours of 00:30 and 05:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2015 Maidstone Road, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, A228 Hale Street By Pass, A228 Branbridges Ind Est Roundabout, A228 Branbridges Road, Beltring Road, Gravelly Ways, Lees Road and vice versa.

The alternative route for any Westbound through traffic is via B2162 Hampstead Lane, Lees Road, Gravelly Ways, Beltring Road, A228 Branbridges Road, A228 Whetsted Road, A228 Branbridges Road, A228 Branbridges Ind Est Roundabout, A228 Hale Street By Pass, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, B2015 Maidstone Road and B2162 Hampstead Lane.

The alternative route for any Eastbound through traffic is via B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2015 Maidstone Road, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, A228 Hale Street By Pass, A228 Branbridges Ind Est Roundabout, A228 Branbridges Road, Beltring Road, Gravelly Ways, Lees Road and B2162 Hampstead Lane.
